Marshall Medical Centers North is a 90-bed acute care facility located in Guntersville, Alabama. Built in 1990, the facility is voluntarily accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.

Offering the most modern equipment and medical procedures available, Marshall North features all private rooms, fully modern ER and OB units, a 20-room Day Surgery Department, four operating suites with additional endoscopy labs, comprehensive diagnostic imaging and laboratory departments, and a 22,000-square-foot outpatient rehabilitation and fitness center featuring a 75-foot lap pool.

The medical staff of Marshall North consists of more than 50 highly-trained staff physicians supported by more than 500 support clinicians, technologists and other support personnel. Specialists range from family and internal medicine to general surgeons, neurologists, gastroenterologists, plastic & reconstructive surgeons and more. Many of these specialists have offices on the MMC-North campus.

Our Emergency Department is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We see an average of 35,000 emergency patients each year. Marshall North is a certified Trauma II Emergency Department that is serviced by four emergency helicopter transports.
