Current Positions at Marshall Medical North
Registered Nurse - An ER RN is a highly specialized health care professional who cares for a range of medical emergencies and clinic type patient care in the hospital environment for the purpose of recognizing, stabilizing and planning patient care activities and based on acuity of patients. Graduate of a State Board of Nursing School RN program; llicensure by the Alabama Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse; BLS, ACL and PALS certification.
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Works closely with the anesthesiologist to provide anesthesia to patients within the hospital. Must be a graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program (COA) with current licensure as RN and CRNA; ACLS and PALS certification. Monday through Friday schedule with some variation in hours based on surgery schedule; no call at present time.
Surgical Technologist - Surgical scrub technicians are personnel trained to assist the surgeon during surgical procedures. High school graduate or equivalent, must have current BCLS certification. Orthopedic experience preferred.
Aesthetician - Responsible for the delivery of elective skin care services for patients, and working under the supervision of the physicians. Other responsibilities include patient education on treatment plans and medication. Ensures the patient is satisfied with elective skin care services and products recommended and continues to return to receive skin care treatment. High School diploma; college degree preferred. Two years experience in a medical office working as an aesthetician preferred.
Director of Special Deliveries - A professional Registered Nurse who coordinates and manages the administration of direct and indirect patient care on the Maternal/Newborn/GYN unit in order to provide quality patient care. Current licensure by the Alabama State Board of Nursing; minimum of two years RN experience in the care of Labor and delivery, post partum, GYN and newborn patients; prior management experience preferred; must demonstrate leadership abilities, emotional maturity, and capability of making objective decisions.
Administrative Director of Radiology-Masters degree preferred; Administrative Healthcare experience.
Registered Nurse - Evaluates, plans, implements, and documents nursing care for psychiatric patient population. Assists physician during psychiatric assessments and mental status examinations. May conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions. Requires an associate degree and is certified as a registered nurse. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitiude is expected. Alabama Board of Nursing License, BLS Certification.
Evaluate, treat, and follow up on Behavioral Health patients in an out-patient setting.
Customer Service/Maintenance Technician - Customer Service/Maintenance Tech is trained to help support patients and staff by maintaining and improving a safe and secure physical environment. Requires a basic knowledge of plumbing and general maintenance; as well as read and follow instructions, manuals, work orders and to document work completion. High School graduate or equivalent preferred. Valid Alabama motor vehicle operator's license that is not under suspension or revocation.

Clinical Analyst-B.A./B.S. degree in Information Systems. Healthcare or related field or an Associates Degree in a clinical field with five years experience or equivalent healthcare information systems experience. Responsible for the planning, implementation, training, support, and ongoing optimization of specific applications which would include the following CPSI applications: Point of Care,
Order Entry/Results Reporting, Medication Administration Verification, Care Plans, Patient Acuity, Resident Assessment Instruments, Core Measures System/CMS Reporting, Patient Education and associated system interfaces, report writing software and others as designated.
Finance and Accounting
Accountant-Bachelors Degree in Accounting is preferred. 2 years experience working in the Accounting field and prior hospital experience is a plus.
Environmental Care Assistant
Administrative Director of Radiology- Masters degree preferred, with Healthcare Administrative experience.
Hospitality Services-performs a variety of patient and/or cafeteria food service duties. Positions assits with tray assembly, transport of food carts, delivery of trays and return to and from patient care areas. Responsible for all all ware washing for retail and patient services. May be crosstrained in other areas of the cafeteria as needed and must be able to work flexible hours.

Medical Assistant - Provides nursing care to patients, under the direction of a physician, who present with a broad range of medical complaints. The job includes, but is not limited to, the following: receiving patients, performing vital signs, specimen collection, giving injections, documenting charts as necessary, communicating clinical information to patients and other essential parties, maintaining all appropriate clinical logs as defined by MMC guidelines, and assisting the other staff as necessary. High School Graduate or Equivalent. Certified Medial Assistant Diploma from an accredited institution - preferred.
Grant Primary Care
