A variety of medical specialties offered by Marshall Medical add convenience to the equation, thanks to their shared location between Guntersville and Albertville.
A lot of healing goes on inside Marshall Professional Center located at the top of Sand Mountain and right next door to Marshall Cancer Care Center. Unless you’ve been treated at one of its clinics or doctors’ offices, you probably aren’t familiar with all the specialty services offered in this one-stop convenient location.
The facility houses:
• Marshall Sleep Disorders Center
• Marshall Wound Healing Center
• Marshall Imaging Center
• Marshall Rheumatology and the office of rheumatologist Dr. Randall Beyl
• Northeast Alabama Vascular and Vein Specialist, the office of Vascular Surgeon Dr. Alan Willis
Just as the world of healthcare is always changing, Marshall Medical is always updating to better serve patients. A longtime tenant of the Professional Center - the Marshall Pain Clinic – recently relocated inside Marshall Medical Center North, which made room for the Vascular and Vein services at the Professional Center.
Improvements in the works at the multi-services facility include:
• Ultrasound is being added to the Diagnostic Imaging services currently being offered at this location
• A second CT machine is being installed for Cancer Center simulations
• The PET/CT machine is being replaced with an updated and improved version
• A retail pharmacy soon will open in the lobby of the Professional Center
Bill Kirkpatrick, one of Marshall Medical’s Executive Directors of Clinical Service, notes that in addition to the current clinics and services, over the years Marshall Professional Center has been home to a Family Health Clinic, a Pulmonary Nodule Clinic, an Open MRI, an Adolescent Psychiatrist’s office, a satellite location for Mountain Lakes Behavioral Health, and Marshall Medical’s Home Health Agency. The ability to be flexible with this convenient location has allowed Marshall Medical to be responsive as service line situations change.
Kirkpatrick also points out that a Community Use Room with full service kitchen is located in the Center. The room hosts such activities and events as hospital continuing education, CPR training, L.I.F.E events, MGMA (the professional association for Physician Practice Managers in Marshall County), Project Search, and others.
“We are pleased to offer these services and Community Room to the residents of Marshall County,” Kirkpatrick said. “The clinicians and staff at Marshall Professional Center are true professionals in every sense. They take immense pride in caring for their patients and helping them conquer their health challenges.”
Marshall Professional Center is located just south of Walmart and Cracker Barrel on Highway 431 in Guntersville, with easy parking and a convenient front door drop-off area. You can get more details at the web page here - http://bit.ly/MMC-Professional...
